It has been an incredible year of growth and recognition for Newy Tour Co., with two major award wins shining a spotlight on our boutique tour company and the region we are so proud to showcase.
Recognition Across the Hunter Region
Earlier this year, Newy Tour Co. was honoured at the Hunter Regional Tourism Awards, recognising our contribution to the visitor economy and our unique approach to storytelling, hospitality and destination experiences. Winning at a regional level highlighted not only the growth of our business in just 18 months, but also the increasing appeal of Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens as must-visit destinations for travellers from around the world.
Following this, we were also awarded a place in the Hunter EmpowHER Educational Fund, an initiative that supports women in wine, tourism and hospitality. This opportunity will allow us to attend the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) next year, putting Newcastle and the Hunter Valley on the map for international buyers and strengthening our ability to attract high-end, inbound visitors.
